Terms of Service

1. Overview

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Aldo Chandra ("Provider," "we," "us"), including but not limited to website design and development, website maintenance, search engine optimization (SEO), CRM integration, and any subscription-based services offered through aldochandra.com. By purchasing or subscribing to any service, you ("Client," "you") agree to these Terms in full.

2. Subscription Services

2.1 Billing Cycle

Subscription services are billed on a monthly recurring basis. Your billing date is set on the date of your initial payment and recurs on the same date each subsequent month. All fees are charged in advance for the upcoming service period.

2.2 Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time by providing written notice via email to aldo@aldochandra.com. Upon cancellation, your service will remain active through the end of the current paid billing period. No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of a billing cycle.

2.3 Service Continuity

If your subscription lapses or is canceled, website hosting, maintenance, SEO services, and any other recurring deliverables will cease at the end of the last paid billing period. We are not responsible for downtime, data loss, or ranking changes that occur after services are terminated.

3. Website Maintenance Services

3.1 Scope of Service

Website maintenance subscriptions include hosting, SSL certificate management, uptime monitoring, content edits, bug fixes, mobile and browser compatibility testing, and monthly performance reporting. "Unlimited edits" refers to reasonable content updates such as text changes, image swaps, testimonial additions, and similar modifications.

3.2 Exclusions

Maintenance does not include full website redesigns, new feature development requiring more than 2 hours of work, third-party software licensing fees, domain registration or renewal fees, or content writing. These services may be provided at an additional cost upon mutual agreement.

3.3 Response Time

We aim to respond to all maintenance requests within 24–48 business hours. Emergency issues affecting site availability will be prioritized.

4. SEO Services

4.1 Scope of Service

SEO subscriptions may include keyword research, on-page optimization, blog content creation, Google Business Profile management, technical SEO audits, and monthly ranking reports. Specific deliverables are outlined in your service agreement or proposal.

4.2 No Guarantees

Search engine rankings are influenced by factors beyond our control, including algorithm updates, competitor activity, and domain authority. We do not guarantee specific rankings, positions, or traffic volumes. We commit to industry best practices and transparent reporting.

4.3 Content Ownership

Blog posts, copy, and other content created as part of SEO services are owned by the Client upon full payment for the billing period in which they were created.

5. Website Development

5.1 One-Time Projects

Custom website builds and one-time integrations (e.g., CRM setup, form integrations) are billed as outlined in the project proposal. Payment terms are specified in the individual project agreement.

5.2 Intellectual Property

Upon full payment, the Client receives ownership of all custom design assets, content, and media created specifically for their project. The underlying codebase, frameworks, templates, and reusable components remain the intellectual property of the Provider and may be used in other projects.

5.3 Domain & Hosting

Clients own their domain names. If your domain is registered through a third party, you are responsible for maintaining registration and DNS settings. If hosting is included in a maintenance subscription, hosting access is contingent on an active subscription.

6. Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely through our payment processor. By providing payment information, you authorize recurring charges for subscription services until canceled. If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect again. Services may be suspended after 7 days of non-payment.

One-time service fees are due as specified in the project proposal. Late payments may incur a fee of 1.5% per month on the outstanding balance.

7. Client Responsibilities

You agree to provide timely access to necessary accounts, credentials, content, and approvals required for service delivery. Delays caused by the Client (e.g., late content delivery, delayed approvals) do not extend deadlines or reduce fees. You are responsible for the accuracy of all content you provide.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in the 3 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for losses resulting from third-party services, hosting outages beyond our control, search engine algorithm changes, or data loss caused by third-party platforms.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate services with written notice. The Provider reserves the right to terminate services immediately for non-payment, breach of these Terms, abusive behavior, or use of services for illegal purposes. Upon termination, we will provide reasonable assistance in transitioning your website and data, subject to final payment of all outstanding balances.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes affecting pricing or scope will be communicated via email at least 30 days in advance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
